THE WINES | LE VINEE

After the year 1000, in Piedmont the vine was grown in “vinee”, low and thick vine alleys supported by short wooden poles.

Vine:Barbera 100% DOC. Ancient native vine from Piedmont.

ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACHTERISTICS
Full bodied wine, ruby red colour with violet hues. At the palate has good acidity, with soft tannins. When young, it has strong, red ripe fruits aromas; after prolonged ageing it enriches with tobacco leaves bouquet and balsamic notes. Vinified in wood, it is aged for one year in big barrel and for one year in regenerated barriques.

PAIRING NOTES
Ideal with rich meat dishes or cheeses. Excellent on its own.
